Importing TMX files
If you have a TMX file exported from a different translation memory or created by aligning original texts with their translations, you can import such a file into a translation memory for use in projects. Please note that the translation memory must contain the languages that correspond to the TMX file.
To import a TMX file, select the translation memory and press the Update TM button.
In the window that opens, click Add and select the TMX file on your computer. Hit Import.
Importing XLSX files
You can download a translation memory as an XLSX file from Smartcat, edit it and upload it back to Smartcat. This can be the quickest, easiest way to make changes to a translation memory, especially in multilingual projects.
Editing an XLSX file
The first column of the downloaded spreadsheet will contain a list of source texts, the second column (and the following ones, if this is a multilingual TM) will contain translations. The first cell of each column containing source texts or translations will contain a language code. In case you need to change it, here’s the full list of language codes.
If your translations contain tags, they will look like this (the digit refers to the number of the tag):
Choose your preferred payout method on the <1|My Payouts|1> page.
Also, you will find two additional columns entitled [Context: previous] and [Context: next] in the file which contain information about adjacency between the current segment with other segments. This information helps Smartcat track context matches.resources ресурсы ТМХ-файл
