On the final step of the wizard, you will be able to select the steps you want to add to your workflow. There are four predefined standard localization tasks that can be selected to create custom workflows.

If you are working with machine translation (MT), you can simply have a post-editing task:
To delete a task, hover the cursor over it and click the trash bin icon.
To delete all the tasks, press Reset.
To set up workflow quickly, you can use templates. Simply click a suitable template or drag it onto the list of tasks.
To create your own template, set a task sequence that is not already saved as a template and click on Save template that will appear next to the Reset option.
It’s possible to have multiple combinations of these tasks although they should adhere to industry conventions like for example have editing follow translation, not the opposite. But it’s possible to have for example two proofreading stages if a client review was needed. Each task can be assigned one or more freelancer or a vendor.
In Smartcat’s multi-user editor, if the project includes more than one task, individual segments should be processed sequentially in the order set by the workflow, but different stages can happen in parallel inside a document. For example, segments that have already been translated and confirmed immediately become available to the editor, and those that have been edited — to the proofreader. Thus, the assignees do not need to wait until the previous stage is completed to begin their assigned tasks. In addition, as opposed to desktop applications, there is no need to send the work files back and forth: they are stored on the Smartcat server and are always available to the workflow participants.
